About US

We’re launching a pasture-raised farm focused on honest, healthy food—and we’re inviting you to be part of it from day one.

Proctor Pastures didn’t start as a business idea.
It started as a conviction.

A conviction that the way food is grown matters.
A conviction that the land deserves better.
And a conviction that we are called to steward what we’ve been given—faithfully, responsibly, and without shortcuts.

Long before there was a name, a plan, or a goal to raise $10,000, this journey began in the small, everyday work happening right in our own backyard.

Today, that looks like a growing homestead.

We are beekeepers, learning the rhythms of the hive and gaining a deeper respect for how God designed creation to work in balance. Bees don’t just produce honey—they pollinate, they support life, and they remind us that even the smallest parts of creation have a purpose. Caring for them has shaped how we see the land: not as something to use up, but something to work with.

We currently have 14 chickens, providing fresh eggs for our family. They’re not just animals—they’re part of a system we’re learning to manage better every day. We see firsthand how proper care, space, and attention produce healthier birds and better food. It’s simple, but it’s powerful.

And then there’s the garden.

Monet has built something truly special—a prolific vegetable garden that continues to grow season after season. What started as a few plants has turned into an abundant source of fresh food, grown with care and intention. It’s not just about producing vegetables—it’s about cultivating life, patience, and consistency. The garden has become proof that when you work with the land instead of against it, it gives back in ways that are hard to fully describe.

These aren’t separate hobbies.
They are the foundation of Proctor Pastures.

Each piece—bees, chickens, garden—has been shaping our understanding of what it means to live differently. To slow down. To pay attention. To take responsibility for how food is produced and where it comes from.

And through it all, one thing has become clear:

There is a better way to do this.

Modern agriculture often prioritizes speed, efficiency, and scale—but at a cost. Soil is depleted. Animals are confined. Quality is sacrificed. And over time, something important has been lost.

Proctor Pastures exists to push back against that.

We are building this farm on the principles of regenerative agriculture—working with the land, not against it. That means rotational grazing, improving soil health, and creating systems where animals and land support each other the way they were designed to.

It’s not the fastest way.
It’s not the easiest way.
But we believe it’s the right way.

Our faith is at the center of that belief.

We don’t see this land—or this vision—as something we own outright. We see it as something we’ve been entrusted with. Scripture teaches stewardship, responsibility, and care for creation, and we take that seriously. Every decision we make—from how animals are raised to how the land is managed—is shaped by that perspective.

This isn’t just about producing food.

It’s about restoring something.

Restoring the soil.
Restoring trust in where food comes from.
Restoring a way of life that values integrity over convenience.

Right now, Proctor Pastures is in its early stages—but it’s not starting from zero. It’s growing out of real experience, real work, and a real commitment to doing things differently.

The next step is expanding—moving from a backyard homestead to a fully functioning pasture-based farm. That means building mobile infrastructure, increasing our flock, and putting regenerative systems into place on a larger scale.

That’s why we’re inviting others to be part of this.

Not just as supporters—but as people who believe in what this represents.

When you support Proctor Pastures, you’re not just helping start a farm.
You’re helping build something rooted in faith, stewardship, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

From our family to yours—thank you for being part of the journey.
